This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Scotsman Guide
Media. For the past 25 years Scotsman Guide has informed, inspired and entertained
mortgage professionals across the United States with our residential edition.
A lot has changed since my father first purchased the publishing business in 1985, but
at its core Scotsman Guide has been about solving mortgage professionals’ most difficult
problems since day one.
We are extremely thankful to all of our readers — past and present — for whom we have
proudly worked side by side as we continually endeavor to help them and support their
missions. It continues to be an honor and a privilege. Working directly with you has helped
us to develop industry-leading products like our exclusive line of lender matrixes, the
online lender search, and the only audited rankings of mortgage professionals around.
Long ago, Scotsman Guide found new ways to move its readers with exclusive access to
information you couldn’t get anywhere else. As we enter this special year, there is no better
connection between our legacy and our future as we prepare to offer new and exciting
digital ways to interact with the mortgage industry.
That’s why as we navigate the complex digital world of mortgage lending, I am completely
confident we will meet every creative challenge that comes along the way. We’ll continue
to adapt to media’s changes because we have the creative minds, resources and the
history to do just that, and more.
We have some wonderful plans in store to celebrate our anniversary throughout 2019.
Although we don’t want to give away too much just yet, you can expect an entirely new
ScotsmanGuide.com experience made for the mobile world, a new and improved online
lender search and improvements to our digital editions. All these changes are just
scratching the surface of what is in store for Scotsman Guide and our readers.
Finally, but certainly not least, at the very core of our business are our amazing team
members. Their unceasing efforts prove to be what drives and pushes us forward time and
time again. Regardless of the project they are working on, our team manages to deliver
exemplary results that foster a consistently high level of satisfaction among our readers.
It is because of our readers, staff, advertisers and collaborators that after 25 years the
residential magazine is still going strong, providing us with a platform to pursue and
